Hurst Plastics, the leading manufacturer of PVC-U door infill panels and polymer doors, has signed an exclusive deal with window and door fabricator Thermaglaze.
The one year contract with Thermaglaze will see Hurst Plastics supply around 50 door panels a month to the Nottinghamshire-based fabricator.
Thermaglaze had previously been working with a number of panel suppliers and wanted to establish a reliable and secure supply chain with a reputable manufacturer. Having worked with Hurst Plastics for around 12 months, Thermaglaze were confident that they would benefit from a high quality product with quick turnaround and dependable delivery, whilst avoiding the administration problems associated with working with several suppliers.
Alan Miller, general manager of Thermaglaze, said: “We had worked with many suppliers in the past and decided that we wanted to establish a better business relationship with just one panel company. Because we had been working with Hurst for a year, we knew that their service, product quality and delivery were good and we had no hesitation in securing an exclusive contract with them.”
Thermaglaze employs around 20 staff and is currently manufacturing around 250 frames a week. The company supplies a full range of products including windows, doors, shaped and French doors.
Hurst Plastics is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of high quality PVC-U door infill panels and polymer doors. Based in Kingston-Upon-Hull, the company also supplies a wide choice of unique glazing options and a selection of GRP products, including overdoor canopies, bow canopies and conservatory roofs.
